Dead Roses and Dead Soul

Image
Dead Roses and Dead Soul No one saw his major loss

Every morning
walking up to miles
he collects roses
with the hope
he can give them to her one day Every afternoon
forgetting disappointments
he collects hope
with the dream
she will be with him one day Even by the end of the day,
those fading roses on his desk
and depressed soul within him,
both continue to live
with a desire of reconciliation someday Times changed
but she didn’t. His soul continues to breathe
he sprays water to roses
hoping neither of them dies
hoping they both live for one more day
where they can hope for one more. She never came back
she decided she won’t. Roses withered and died
his soul grieved and died.
He buried roses and his soul
with no hope of a further journey
with no desire for tomorrow. All saw dead roses
being sorry for its loss
but the dead soul within him
no one cared to search
and remained invisible forever. Suraj Ghimire 2020 This poem was first posted on https://medium.com/storymake

We Each Married A Stranger — And I Know It Sounds Weird.

A letter to our children narrating the story of our arranged marriage. Hopefully, they get to read it in the future

Dear Children, While I sketch this letter, you are merely limited in our thoughts. Even though you are in our future planning, I decided to write you something. I hope this letter finds you well wherever you are. We pray that our Almighty will keep you safe for years to come. While you grow up in the future, you may be astounded to see unusual wedding pictures of your parents. You might be curious about how we actually met? Under what conditions we got married? Let me tell you the story of our arranged marriage. Yes, you read it correctly. Read More On Medium (The link will take you to external site where I have published my full article)

No criminal Charge Against Government Officials Exposed in The Rautat Bomb blast.

What does it mean to Nation?

This is with a reference to the news bulletin published in Naya Patrika on 5th November 2019. Here is its image.

While the judiciary hearing is yet to start for Mr. Mohammad Aftab Alam, it's quick to judge if there will be any charges to policemen, lawyers or Mr. Krishna Sitaula himself, immediate home minister in the cabinet of Late Girija Prasad Koirala. The public might take lightly an absence of charges I am personally not aware of any such incident in history where any government personal has been charged with misusing their power. However, in today’s reality, this is a point of concern for good governance. This is a concern for future
Is there a need for a charge against government personals exposed to this case? Are they innocent?
The horrible bomb blast and burning those victims alive in a nearby brickyard. Even though Mohammad Aftab Alam and his associates were the …

My mother tongue is Nepali, yet it would be no wrong to say that English is my first language. Since my primary level schooling, I have studied in English medium. This gave me much needed confidence in my speaking and writing. Yet there were flaws in my English writing which remain unaddressed as I didn't bother to care about them. One of the reasons was I needed no advanced grammar, and extensive vocabulary as Language was not an obligation in the courses I have been studying.
I started blogging in 2008. First in blogger and then mouthshut.com.  I never realized about the mistakes I had made, until people began objecting about the mistak…

Part-time Job Scam:- Things you must know.

Image
Most of the student visiting  Europe/America for study look for a part-time job more than any other. Because of their need, many students fall prey to scam losing their money what they had. This looks a very old fashioned scam, still, hundreds of people are an easy victim. Although this scam is more about an incident in Europe, they may occur in some or other way in the rest of the world.

Thankfully, I got saved.
As scammers focus on students who are not familiar with the European banking system, I hope this mail will reach to all newcomers student in Europe. This happened in France.
Had I not known about such a scam, I too would also have been an easy victim. As I was in the need of a part-time job in November 2018, I posted a free advertisement in leboncoin. In a day or two, I got one mail which reminded me about an incident that happened with one of my friend in August 2018.
The real incident
Mr. X, from Nepal, actively started looking for a part-time job when he came to France. He po…

The lenses in Social media:- The Vulture or Samaritan?

Image
Back in 1993, Kevin Carter, a photographer captured an image of a malnourished boy. A photojournalist whose attempt to show the real ground condition of a starving child in Sudan was widely criticized for a well-known reason. Even though this picture gave him an award, it took away his life. These are the days where every one of us has a beautiful camera and cheap internet services. We enjoy our beautiful journey with a click that is supposed to be a memory for days to come. But at the same time, the living conditions of people below the poverty line has not changed. They have been struggling for their basic needs, including food, water, and shelter.

An opportunistic among us are happy to click pictures that can fill social media with sympathy. It would be no wrong to say that our growing hunger of fame, in search of likes and shares has extinguished any form of compassion. Unlike Carter, there is no sign of the presence of guilt among us. While most of us take our time to enjoy those…
